As soon as possible:

• Agree a date, budget, style of ceremony and number of guests.

• Book  ceremony/Reception venue(s).

• Book  caterer and choose menus

Six months before

• Order bride’s gown/ accessories and her attendants clothing

• Book honeymoon

• Order cake

• Arrange transport if needed

• Order invitations and  other desired stationery

• Book florist and select your celebrations

• Plan your music choices and  or performers
   

Three months before

• Set up wedding gift list

• Send out invitations

• Order wedding rings

• Order clothing for groom and other male attendants

• Plan your hen/ stag celebrations

• Finalise menus and make wine/drink selections
   

One month before

• Choose and wrap thank-you gifts for family and attendants

• Create a seating plan

• Run through bride’s dress, hair and make-up in full
   

The final fortnight

• Prepare speeches

• Re-confirm all arrangements

• Ensure all outfits fit

• Relax and enjoy a wonderful wedding
