72 hours in Barmouth Things to do Day 1.


After arriving at the Min y mor Hotel in sunny Barmouth the first thing to do is is hit the beach which is directly opposite the Hotel, Barmouth has a beautiful Blue flag beach . Take a right from the Min Y Mor Hotel and discover the quiet side with plenty of room for beach combing or dog walking this end of the beach is quiet. Take a left and walk along the beach towards the Donkey's, trampolines and pirate ship where those of you with little ones will find plenty to do and much fun to be had. if you are looking for a bit more excitement then the bright lights of the fair and the allure of the 2p machines in the fair might attract you.

if you are not tempted by the fair then continue to walk along the beach until you come to the famous Barmouth Maoi the Barmouth head is a striking feature on Barmouth beach .

now you are just around the corner from Barmouths'

beautiful harbour so you may as well treat yourself to a coffee or an ice cream at one of the gorgeous ice cream parlour's The Bath House , Knickerbockers or Davy Jones's locker.

You can also go Crabbing in the harbour and if you have little ones with you this will keep them entertained for hours.

Don't forget to throw the crabs back in when you are finished!

After all this Excitment you will have worked up an appetite so maybe you could treat yourself to some delicious Fish and Chips at the Mermaid which year after year has been voted the best fish and chip shop in north wales.

Next head back to the Min y Mor hotel for a nice cold beer or glass of wine in our beautiful beer garden while watching the spectacular sunset.
